PAGE SECTIONS
Features four tracks to choose from, each of a different difficulty.
Difficulty alters the speed at which nodes move across the screen and the total amount of nodes that appear throughout the track.
UI
The menu actually features a tune I wrote. Each UI element is animated to match the rhythm and tempo of the music. This is true for the title screen shown above as well.
GAMEPLAY
Once a track starts playing, nodes will begin to appear from the top of the screen and move downward along four vertical lines. Nodes will align with the colored icons at the bottom of the screen in time with the main melody of the music.
If the player taps a colored icon with their finger exactly when a node reaches that icon, the player's score and score multiplier will increase and the white line on the bar at the top of the screen will move towards the right (green side).
If the player taps their finger with incorrect timing or a node reaches the bottom of the screen (and explodes!), the bar will move towards the left (red side). If the bar reaches the far end of the left side, the player will lose and end up on the game over screen where they can choose to try again.
